HHS Competition

DECA competition is an area that DECA really makes a difference. Students who choose to compete receive so much more than those who do not compete. DECA competition develops skills that cannot be taught or acquired in a classroom setting. Students learn how to communicate when they prepare for a DECA role play and they develop written and verbal communication skills when they choose to compete in a DECA written event, which includes a manual, visual display, and presentation to judges. Since there are so many DECA competitive events to choose from, students can decide whether they prefer a test only event, a test and role play, or a written event.
