Heritage High School  Marketing Education Mission Statement:

To execute instruction in the curriculum of the marketing program administered by the Georgia Department of Education using proven successful teaching strategies and methods in a stimulating and supporting environment and to equip marketing and DECA students with the skills and resources that they need to achieve their maximum potential in the securement of postsecondary education enrollment and/or successful job placement after high school graduation.  

Heritage High School Marketing Education Goals:

ü  To foster an environment of learning that equips students and enables them to produce evidence of leadership in a portfolio that includes experiences, initiatives, and accomplishments that reflect a habit of leadership.

 ü  To create a desire in students so that they will thrive on sophisticated ideas and lively discussion, recognizing that learning depends upon the active participation of prepared students who can assess, analyze, and act upon complex information.

ü  To teach students the social and ethical responsibilities of business in a variety of ways, both inside and outside the classroom, in an effort to graduate students who are socially responsible, have respect for others, and are positive contributors to our society.
